Boomer Esiason Says Odell Beckham Jr. Quit On The Giants Last Year By Faking An Injury

CBS Sports analyst Boomer Esiason was critical of how Odell Beckham Jr’s time with the Giants came to an end last season. Prior to being traded to the Browns in the off-season, OBJ sat out the last four games of the season with a leg injury that could not be explained.

Boomer thinks Beckham quit on the Giants by faking the injury. There did seem to be a disconnect between the Giants and OBJ. The team called it a bruised quad and the star receiver said it was more serious than a bruised quad and said the injury was a hematoma.

“Odell took himself off the field last year for four games after making $19 million,” Esiason told NJ Advance Media. “That takes a lot of chestnuts.”
