Before the 2022-23 NBA season began, Knicks starting point guard Jalen Brunson predicted the squad would make the playoffs. Seven months later, he has proven himself prophetic.
Tom Thibodeau’s fifth-seeded New York Knicks will face off against J.B. Bickerstaff’s fourth-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
Jalen Brunson as well as stars RJ Barrett, Cam Reddish, Immanuel Quickley, Quentin Grimes and (fingers crossed) the injured Julius Randle will take on Donovan Mitchell and the Cavs.
Among the happiest fans are the exotic dancers who perform at the famous gentlemen’s club Rick’s Cabaret, just one block from Madison Square Garden and home of the post-game parties that attract Knicks fans to celebrate victories, or soothe the pain after lost games.
“It’s so great that they are in the playoffs,” said Rick’s Cabaret girl Cynthia. “They may be the underdogs, but we are cheering for them to win, win!
“Rick’s is the home of the best basketball viewing and after-parties,” said Rick’s Cabaret girl Sahara. “Come make it rain on the gorgeous girls, Let’s all cheer for the Knicks and pop some bottles.”
The three-story Rick’s Cabaret features multiple stages, private suites, and deluxe sky boxes. The top-rated Rick’s Steakhouse on the club’s second floor is under the direction of award-winning celebrity chef Jayson Margulies and serves daily lunch specials, dinner, and late night supper.
