Patriots Blitz Darnold, Jets 33-0

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots did what they do best: winning.

They beat down their lowly AFC rival the New York Jets. Running back Sony Michel rushed for three of the Patriots four TDs. Final score Pats 33 Jets 0

With the win the Patriots swept the two-game season series against their AFC East rivals for the fourth straight year, outscoring the 1-5 Jets 63-14 in the two meetings this year.

Brady went 31 of 45 for 249 YDS and one TD for a solid performance, but, to be honest, he was the second best QB for the Patriots last night. The first was the Jets QB Sam Darnold, who lacked as much accuracy as he did confidence. The whole night he threw four INT’s—all of them seemingly while throwing off his back heel—and lost a fumble on another drive for a five turnover performance in which the second year NFL starter looked like a first year college backup.
