The New York Mets have fired manager Mickey Callaway. Who will be the new manager? The exotic dancers at Rick’s Cabaret New York, the upscale gentlemen’s club known to be a favorite with baseball players and their fans, offered their choices.
The lovely ladies suggested that the new Mets manager should be someone who was once a Met.
Rick’s Cabaret girl Fiona said, “I want a Mets guy to become the new manager. My pick is David Wright.”
Rick’s Cabaret girl Vanessa said, “I think the Mets should pick one of their former players that the fans already love. I would like to see either Carlos Beltran or Wally Backman as the new manager.”
Rick’s Cabaret girl Olivia had another former Mets star in mind. “The Mets should promote Edgardo Alfonzo. He just won the Championship for the Brooklyn Cyclones and would do the same for the Mets!”
Rick’s Cabaret girl Katrina said, “I think the Mets have not been very good and they should really roll the dice and bring in a wild card. I would like Lenny Dykstra to get the job. I guarantee that the Mets would be interesting again!”
Another interesting suggestion was made by Rick’s Cabaret girl Onyx. “I would love to see Jose Reyes back with the team. He could be the manager and a player! That would be great!”
