Jets Dismantled by Jaguars in Total Mismatch

On a breezy and balmy day in Jacksonville, Florida, the New York Jets  lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, 48 – 20, for their 11th loss of the season.

The Jaguars may or may not ever earn respect. What they’re doing in the meantime is winning – and doing so in increasingly impressive fashion, with a quarterback playing the same way.

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence passed for career-high 5 touchdowns and ran for another as the surging, AFC South-leading Jaguars turned in yet another one-sided late-season victory in front of 60,815 at EverBank Stadium Sunday afternoon.

The Jets lost ugly to the Jags – further cementing their spot as one of the worst teams in the NFL. The Jets also further solidified their draft position, which is now looking like it could be in the top five.

The Jets drop to 3-11 on the season. Now the Jets prepare to go on the road to face the New Orleans Saints next week.
