New York Upsets Green Bay, Tommy DeVito Leads Game-Winning Drive!

The Packers came into Monday night’s game against the Giants with a perfect record in the month of December dating back through the past 16 games they have played in that time span, but that was all spoiled as they hit the road to face the Giants.

In a game that was uneventful overall at the beginning, there was plenty of back and forth there toward the end as the Giants pulled off the 24-22 victory over the Packers in the final seconds with a field goal.

The Packers had turned things around from a 2-5 start to the season to 6-6 with a very real chance of making a strong postseason run, though they have suffered a bit of a setback at this point.

Though things looked bleak for New York at the end of the contest with just seconds remaining, QB Tommy DeVito led the team down the field to finish the job.

DeVito spoke on what he told his teammates in the huddle during that last drive after the game. The message was simple.

“Let’s go win the game. It’s on us. It’s on the offense.”
