Whether it was Deebo Samuel, George Kittle or Christian McCaffrey, the San Francisco 49ers wreaked havoc on the New York Giants with yards after the catch or contact.
The Niners (3-0) willed those yards toward a dominating 30-12 home victory over the Giants at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Thursday Night Football to remain undefeated this season.
Niners’ quarterback Brock Purdy completed 25 of 37 passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns, while Samuel hauled in six receptions for 129 yards and a TD. Christian McCaffrey rumbled his way to 85 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Samuel dragging a few Giants defenders for extra yardage in the fourth quarter, followed by the star wideout securing a 27-yard touchdown a few plays later not only capped the 49ers’ domination of Big Blue, but it typified just how much San Francisco manhandled New York.
The Giants (1-2), who were without star running back Saquon Barkley (high ankle sprain), struggled to convert third downs, while their defense didn’t have many answers for the Niners’ high-powered offense on third downs either.
