Christmas Parties abound, and can be a lot of fun. I went to a few good events this December and enjoyed the good nature and holiday cheer that the season brings. But the Christmas Party that I will always remember most fondly was held a few years ago at the Vivid Cabaret New York strip club.
Amazingly, Baseball legend Dwight Gooden played Santa Claus wearing the full costume and beard and greeted all the fans in attendance and the Vivid Cabaret dancers (!) with a jolly “Ho, ho ho!”
He was very gracious and took time to speak to all the fans and signed autographs. The event raised money for charity–I believe it was for the Marine’s “Toys for Tots” program.
The Vivid girls wore XMAS attire and provided the eye candy. I learned from the club’s general manager Charlie Castro that Vivid Cabaret was a year-round favorite with a lot of baseball players and pro athletes. It is properly described as a “gentlemen’s club,” and the girls are all beautiful and alluring. It was a great party!

Thanks to PR guru Lonnie Hanover for inviting me to the Doc Gooden party (and many subsequent events at the club). Vivid Cabaret is located at 61 West 37 Street in the heart of midtown Manhattan and features the city’s tallest stripper pole and a VIP Ultra Lounge. Check it out!
